About Peter C. Gibbs
For more than 30 years, Peter C. Gibbs has been actively helping small and emerging businesses achieve their goals through programs developed by the Small Business Administration (SBA). With a strong focus in economic development, creation of wealth, and job opportunities in low-income geographic areas, Peter made a lasting difference in his role as Director, Office of Surety Guarantees (OSG) for 16 years; and Deputy Director, Office of New Markets Venture Capital for 14 years.
Peter was responsible for establishing federal partnerships with some of the largest Surety Companies in the world who provide over $9 billion annually in surety bond credit to small businesses throughout the United States. He is proud to contribute his knowledge and expertise in the private sector and expand access to the programs he successfully launched from inception to fruition.
